I understand that one should have some thick skin on forums and not go to moderators for every little thing, but I am sick of Halva making comments about my mom who recently passed away. I would like to see him banned for whatever amount of time he deserves. Plus, I would like him permanently banned if he continues to break the rules.
I have noticed that one of your main rules is to keep poster's families out of the threads. Halva continues to cross the line. I may not agree with or like everyone in this world, but I do realize that we all have families, that families are one of the best ideas society has come up with. I loved and respected my mother greatly. I am sure no one, even if they don't like me, would feel good continually seeing some sadistic creepy internet character attacking another's family situation, in this case, the loss of a loved one. I believe in humanity, and that when a scumbag like Halva posts in this manner, he is attacking each and every one of us. Thank you for your time and consideration. Peace from a real chemmie.

I find it possible to function in groups where people don't necessarily agree with each other on everything. There is quite a bit of healthy disagreement on science forums, for example, but that is part of the process of solving a problem.
You certainly sound like someone who is used to having his own way.

But Mommy is dead now. Are you applying to take over the role, Footsoldier?
This is the same Halva who supports Jim Phelps who was banned from this place a while back for improper conduct. I am thick skinned. He isn't the only troll on the internet. But I would appreciate if he could at least get the regular ban, and if he keeps it up, that he be booted out of here like you rightly did to that other character Jim Phelps. When someone does what he does, it is an attack on all of us.
