View Full Version : ANOTHER A Voice Abuse - She just banned me and unbanned me real quick
Bottom line - whatever we do Sol will not be happy.
I've moved this thread from CU to AR where it belongs.
As Moderators we have been indulging Sol in spite of attacking Moderators before Lib declared February Kick the Moderator month and posting threads in the wrong place.
Sol for these acts you are getting 3 days off. Hopefully in that time this manic episode will have passed and you will calm down a bit.
By all means say hello to that brain trust you've got over at HC.
As far as I am considered any dialog about the rules with Sol is a waste of time. He is interested in getting attention not improving the board. If Lib or Madresfield feel otherwise they are welcome to waste as much time as they like on him.

Editted, I just found Sol's apology for the double post. Now I don't believe he is sincere for a second but I will left his ban.
I don't even understand why she tried to ban me here. Lib? For the love of God.

I banned you for posting in the wrong forum to feed your narcissism. It isn't a crime being a narcissist, but it is against the rules to continually spam the CU forum with AR threads. I read that you had covered your ass in the AR forum and lifted the ban.
Got it?

Listen you dishonest piece of trash,
That thread was a DAY OLD. You can see the edit times. That was OLD NEWS you tried to dig up and ban me for.
It also shows how disingenuous you are to call 2 posts, 1 with an OLD EDIT NOTE that it was an accident, "spam."
You are a real piece of work.

I don't think it is in your interest to even interact with this. You are a moderator. If someone has a problem with your or anyone else's moderating, they should pm other mods to see if there can be some objective feedback. It seems crazy to see so many of these types of useless threads. Personally, I think anyone who puts up graphic crap like what was done should be permanently banned.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. The graphic "crap" was me posting what Islander was saying so the moderators would notice.
Over 1 day ago, I posted 2 posts, letting the mods know that Islander was making attacks against my family on different boards.
I only meant to make 1, and instantly put an edit note in the second one to let anyone know it was a mistake, and that I meant the main one to be in the Current Events forum. It takes 1 second to verify all of these facts by looking at the dates and times.
A Voice banned me the next day for "spamming." This doesn't make sense on multiple levels.
1) I posted a note that it was a mistake, and there is no delete function, the dates and times are verifiable.
2) Islander was posting the family attacks on this forum and on current events - so if I made a post on each forum it's not even like there is anything wrong with that.
3) 2 posts by no means can be considered spam
4) It goes to show how she "bans first, asks questions later" because she was just looking for any reason she could to ban me and got excited and did it, without checking any facts.
A Voice was being 100% disingenuous when she banned me for that. It goes to show she is a childish individual who is not mature enough to have any kind of authority.

I had around 800 posts on chemtrails at this place Gastronamus Cafe. The one running the place decided to not only shut it down, but to also hide the posts from any public viewing. That to me reeks of fakery and censorship. I appreciate that DBS allows free speech. If someone can't get their points across without breaking fundamental rules, then ban away.
This guy SwampAss also told me that Lib was LuLu from CTC. So for a long time I was afraid to sign up at this place. But I do not think that Lib is LuLu, and I am grateful to have found a place where there is free speech and that my posts won't become deleted or hidden by a fake like SwampAss. So thanks for the free speech. I personally wouldn't mind, though, if you banned people permanently if they put up graphic crap. No one needs to see that.
I also appreciate that you ban people for a week or a few days, rather than knee-jerk into a total ban. I think some should be completely banned, but I think the way it is done here makes more sense than the psuedo- free speech of most other forums on the internets.
(I know, it is internet, not internets, just wanted to throw a barb at the Chief Chimp.)

Yeah, the NY Islander guy was a creep to do that.
But I thought there was another graphic one posted before which started this crap.
And you can go on and on about this, but she seems to be saying sorry she made a mistake. If you were at any other place you would have been permanently banned. At least here they just make you sit out a while.
Do you think people should be banned for posting grotesque images?
I do.
There are limits to free speech, aren't there?
And it seems to me that you should just go back to normal posting. This seems like a pointless exercise after a certain point. I am sure you have made whatever point you were trying to make by now. What's the point of continuing this?
Yeah, the NY Islander guy was a creep to do that.
You would have to have been paying attention to the politics to understand.
A Voice recently secretly threatened a poster with a ban because she was annoyed with a nickname he had given her. He told on her, and was quickly banned to shut him up.
A bunch of other posters got mad at her abuses of power. I was one of them who stood up for the poster that got banned. A lot of old time posters here wanted to see her step down as a moderator.
She didn't "accidentally" ban me. She is looking for any reason she can to ban me now. She's just trying to be clever about it. There is absolutely no justification for why she tried to ban me for that, as I outlined:
1) Islander was posting the family attacks on this forum and on current events - so if I made a post on each forum it's not even like there is anything wrong with that.
2) 2 posts on different forums can hardly be considered spam
3) I posted a note that it was a mistake, and there is no delete function so I couldn't get rid of it. All the dates and times are verifiable, so there is no way she missed it.
The rules in no way support any stretch of her trying to ban me for that. She is just sending me a message that she is going to find some disingenuous way to ban me from now on.

Your abilities at dissembling and confabulation border on epic.
Take some lithium and chill.

That's rich - someone who gets so worked up over getting revenge on a poster that she bans them with absolutely no justification, telling someone else to "chill." You are really a mental case.

You knew you had no legitimate reason to ban me, and went ahead and did it. Only someone who is pathetically insecure would have done the kind of abuses you have done here.
You can keep stirring this pot, Sol, but it sure would be smart to figure your points are made and give it a rest. Or do you plan to keep it up indefinitely? What's to be gained?
