This happens the be the Brooklyn cult of Rebbe Menachem Sneerson who died a few years ago.. It is THIS group that my Israeli girlfriend always makes fun of. She tells me that when you drive through the area where they live you will see blankets hanging on the line outside with a hole in the center. The blanket seperates the woman (who is considered dirty) from the husband and the hole serves to accomodate the sex act. I have NOT witnessed it myself but take her word for it.

Well, as to how tiny they are I don't know. They are very loud and demanding and do not give up. About 5 years ago the town of Tenafly in NJ had a BIG problem. What these folks wanted was something hanging from the public utility poles - EACH one! I have YET to figure out what it was exactly, but according to my Israeli girlfriend whom I querried, they are a bunch of nutcases that are armwrestling with the City of Tenafly. Evidently it had a special religious meaning to them and was absolutely essential to their collective wellbeing. The city said NO. They took them to Court....they lost ...they appealed and that appeal was still going on when we moved to Florida so I have never learned the final ending of it except that they were going to take it to the Supreme Court. Accusations of anti-semitism galore. In the meantime Tenafly always had a very lovely Christmas Crech in the center of town. They got a lawyer and contested it being there. So no more Crech. Believe it or not some people do not like these folks.

Any demand that is not met is is immediately countered with "antisemitism"..."antisemitis"
