Support a Foreign Lobby Registration Act

Lobbies working on behalf of foreign governments in our nation’s capital inhibit the formation of foreign policies that are in our own national interest. We urge you to send the following petition supporting a Foreign Lobby Registration Act (FLORA) to your representative and the president. Such an act would make lobbies supporting foreign governments more transparent and accountable to the American people. It would also make clear that those lobbies do not work on behalf of American interests but, in fact, work to support the narrow interests of a foreign government.

Jewish groups hope they can keep homeland security money flowing.

WASHINGTON, June 28 (JTA) — Jewish groups gratefully absorbed more than half of the homeland security funds last year aimed at protecting nonprofits — and they’re campaigning to make sure the money keeps flowing.
An array of Jewish groups nationwide is just now beginning to spend the $14 million of the $25 million mandated by Congress in 2005 to secure at-risk nonprofit groups.

They worked closely with other Zionist ideologues like Bush speechwriter David Frum to promote the notion of “axes of evil”, to engage in a sequence of wars against Muslim regimes hostile to Israeli colonial policy in Palestine and beyond. Wolfowitz, Feith set up the parallel ‘intelligence’ agency (the Office of Special Planning) run by fellow Zionist Abram Shulsky using Chalabi to provide phony data on Iraq to precipitate that war. An army of ‘Israel First’ academic and journalist ideologues wrote, spoke and acted to justify the US attack on Iraq as the first part of a regional war to destroy any and all regimes critical of Israeli expansionism. Cohen, Rubin, Kristol, Foxman, Ledeen and many others provided “expert” propaganda on why US soldiers should kill and be killed for Greater Israel. Almost daily meetings and consultations took place between the top Zionists officials and the Israeli military and intelligence leaders in the offices of Feith and other Zionists. The Pentagon offices of Feith and Wolfowitz appeared to be an upscale bordello for high ranking Israeli officials. Judging from the subsequent policies it is clear that Pentagon Zionists took their cues from their Israeli counterparts – Israel was given greater funding, unlimited access to US policy makers and information pertaining to US policy in the Middle East. Meantime US intelligence and military officials were marginalized, their objections to Israeli positions blown away, their very presence seen as obstacles to realizing Sharon’s vision of a Greater Israeli – sharing (?) domination over the Middle East. …

I feel comfortable in saying that although I am both liberal and probably a bit to the left, that I also(as I've stated in threads similar to this one) recognize that 'it don't come easy',, and most people are totally blank 'from where it comes'.

I doubt any of you would be willing to live without 'Oil' and all that it means in terms of a modern economy.
I'll say it once more:
Israel is the best 'scapegoat' history, prejudice, and money, can buy.....; they are also the best 'front' man for the U.S./Britain, etc.;; in a land hostile to the West and its paticular values.

Thats the fact...deal with it. Israel is 'our' asset,,,, we are not theirs.;;; they man the front lines per se.
Sorry folks,, that's the shitty reality- and stop projecting the inner turmoil we all share as we watch Armeggedon transpire--- me likes it neither.
