Environmental activism made major political gains in the 80's and early
90's until bush sr. decided that the fearmongering and the cost was to high a price to pay based upon conflicting data of global warming and pollution.
Most of the players in the chemtrail hoax were members or associated with this activism,the only gambit left to these individuals politically was to
create fear , hence the chemtrail hoax.

It started innocently enough as a conspiracy and a way to generate income for the fallen enviromentalist's and their agenda,at the time they had no clue who was keeping tabs or if they would be taken seriously.Now a mere 5 years later ,the greens have spun this hoax into a political gambit by which they envision a return to their former glory.

Except for one slight problem,Chemtrails are percieved by the masses to be in the same category as JFK,UFO's,Ghost's,Planet X,etc....etc............

So how does one bring legitimacy to a real hoax......?

Since 9/11 and the attack, this hoax has gone from a few envronmental activists purveying this hoax ,to alex jones,jeff rense,and every anti-government organization and left-leaning political website on the damn net. Politicians are now jumping on the bandwagon and listening to the chemtrail drivel not because they wish to save the planet as the greens would have you believe,but to further their own political agenda's.Chemtrails now have a cult following and most are extremist's
like Halva,who have wet dreams about the power they might wield if they
play their cards right......It isnt about the Environment anymore its about political power and the spreading of their hoax and their philosophy.......they are now like a disease spreading thru the population.

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Using models that simulate the interaction between global climate and land ecosystems, atmospheric scientists from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory have shown that compensating for the carbon dioxide "greenhouse effect" by decreasing the amount of sunlight reaching the planet (geoengineering) could create a more vigorous ecosystem while helping to curb global warming.
The study suggests that planetary-scale engineering projects to lessen the amount of solar radiation reaching the Earth's surface will likely do little to prevent the effects of increased greenhouse gases on the terrestrial biosphere. In fact, plants could experience growth spurts.

In a paper entitled: "Impact of Geoengineering Schemes on the Terrestrial Biosphere," Livermore researchers Bala Govindasamy, Starley Thompson, Philip Duffy, Ken Caldeira and University of Wisconsin collaborator Christine Delire, modeled the impact on Earth's land biosphere due to various schemes that would reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the planet's surface. The research appears in the Nov. 26 online edition of Geophysical Research Letters.

"Our models show plant life getting a big boost from the carbon dioxide fertilization when atmospheric CO2 levels are doubled due to anthropogenic fossil fuel emissions," Govindasamy said. "We noticed that in a CO2-enriched world, the terrestrial biosphere was largely unaffected by decreases in surface solar radiation by a couple of percentage points through various geoengineering schemes."

In earlier research, scientists have maintained that greenhouse gases emitted from the burning of fossil fuels are one of the largest sources of global warming because they cause an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Methods to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide vary from storing it in the deep ocean to reducing the amount of sunlight reaching the planet (geoengineering) that could largely counteract the warming influence of more greenhouse gases.

"Critics suggested that 'turning down the sun' could harm terrestrial ecosystems that depend on light for photosynthesis, but this new work shows that a change in solar flux to stabilize climate would have little effect on the terrestrial biosphere," Caldeira said. "In fact, turning down the sun a bit reduces evaporation and therefore gives the plants more water for photosynthesis so that they may actually grow better in a geoengineered world than they do today."

The researchers, however, strongly caution against adopting any geoengineering scheme because "there are many reasons why geoengineering is not a preferred option for climate stabilization." Among these are the risks of system failure and unpredictable responses of Earth's climate system to large-scale human intervention ecosystems.

"First, geoengineering schemes impose a variety of technical, political and economic challenges. International consensus to develop and maintain the schemes would be difficult. Failure of a scheme could be catastrophic," said Govindasamy said. "CO2 fertilization could impact ecosystem goods and services not represented by our land biosphere model, such as plant species abundance and competition, habitat loss, biodiversity and other disturbances."

The LLNL-led group used a general circulation model coupled to a model of land vegetation to conclude that the change in solar flux needed to stabilize climate would have little effect on net primary productivity in land.

I can see normal contrails disappearing behind the jets within 6 seconds, and the other so-called chemtrails lasting all day, as they dissipate and smear the skies with a steel grey color. I haven't seen a proper blue skie here like the one in Australia since I've been out here.

I, as other ordinary members of the public, did not know what the hell was going on, till informed by Wayne Hall, who directed me to Chemtrails forum. I took their word with a big question mark. Then J. Reynolds was kind enough to put me straight on some scientific questions, without fully convincing me of the innocent nature of these jet trails.

We all know that governments/military carry out environment and climate experiments, and that their secret vaults are filled with projects kept secret from us the people. Whether or not, chemtrails are one of these experiments...will become known sooner or later. In the meantime, I believe we have every right to know what they are doing to us.

I suggest that this thread be dissolved for obvious reasons. What started as a question became a mud slinging debate with posters from the underworld fighting with the lord of the rings. No winners in this contest, just confusion, slander, insults, threats, racist remarks, religious remarks, scientific debate with no creditable representation and just a good ole free for all.

Jay and others have some good points and so does Halva and his group. Maybe the way of presentation without all of the chatter would help promote some understanding of the facts.

We all know that it is very difficult to prove chemtrails at the level you wish and the other side knows this and taunts you all into a box canyon of debate.

But there is enough de-classified facts that do warrant a full disclosure by someone.

Finding that someone is the problem...finding the holy grail is the problem.

Until both sides can come to terms with each other and use the resources that are avaliable to both sides an answer to all of your questions with proof can be gotten.

Then it is up to both sides to accept the results with dignity, period!

They are quite visible, open and accessable to anyone who cares.

Facts :

Zero discernable photos of aircraft doing anything wrong
Zero photos of aircraft with spraying modification
Zero people who have came forward with evidence
Zero samples gather, or lab reports.
Zero photos of chemplanes at an airport or airbase
Zero knowledge by chemmies in regards to weather
Zero knowledge by chemmies in regards to aircraft
Zero knowledge by chemmies in regards to aircraft navigation.
Zero evidence of persistent contrails starting in late 90s only.
Zero explantion why parallel contrails mean spraying.
Zero explantion why intersection contrails mean spraying.
Zero explanation why a letter X means spraying, but no answer regarding other letters of the alphabet.
Zero explanation of why aircraft should not be allowed to fly in formation
Zero evidence of why an aircraft turning means chemtrails.

All of you have very important points and they all make sense.
The problem is that none of you has the authority or command to suggest and influence the individuals that have masterminded the Middle East war or any other conflict.
America is very guilty of miss-leading the public at large and others within certain offices to the real reasons why these invasions must take place. It is not religion but control of natural resources and its people to accept democratic policies to absorb and pillage the land and its people for complete control of all to satisfy some revelation that these few should be the masters of the earth and enjoy its fruit.

The Paradigm must rest with us to change these systems of governments and spread the wealth. At that point, it is then used as a tool to corner and control our thoughts and movements. The simple freedoms we have are a small piece to what really is out there for us.

We have only ourselves to blame if we are dissatisfied with the geopolitical politics that plays out each day for our entertainment. The military is controlled by false promise and meager wages. The politians that create wars never are first in line to fight along side with others. Did Bush stand with his troops on the front line and yell charge? Did Tony Blair?

Loss of life for someone else’s gain is not right and should be dealt with by the people affected. We know that Saddam was a mass murderer but the USA helped him into power. Now the USA helped him out of power. In addition, we all sit and throw stones because we feel it is right and we fear of standing up in the crowd and demanding a recall.

We accept that the USA and others hold truth to protect whom? The guilty?

As for differences, well that is what we all iron out thru discussions and open debate to setup a system that allows for freedom of expression without the fear of reprisal and ridicule. The Planet is not prejudice and provides everything we need to improve ourselves and live free. Every tool, machine, food, weapon, technology, everything we touch came from the earth and was reshaped to our will. We do not have to live as we do, the laws of Physics and Science do not define these rules we live by. We can easily change them with our will! Our brains have the ability to do anything we choose. The computers and internet was formed inside someone’s brain then they went to gather the parts from the earth to make what we see and feel each day.

It is not a religion that controls us but ourselves allowing others to control. If we combine, our intellects together we can accomplish much, but we must all change ourselves from within first then we can proceed. It does not take centuries to change if we all are willing to sacrifice some to gain more later.

The Media controls us and we accept that because we feel that we can do nothing but talk amongst ourselves and hope that it will get better. Well it will not as long as you all sit on your hands and wait for the other person to take the risk.
We all can debate and write essays all day but outside there are wars, death, poor, sick, uneducated, murder, rape, lies, enslavement, and so many other controls that we have learned to accept by being enabled by our leaders and peers that we put so much faith into.
We can replace and redirect the world events if we work together and demonstrate that we are tired of being tired and as the famous quote from the movie Network, “I am as mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore"!

One last thought, if the French had not assisted the USA during the separation from England what would it be like now? If the Black Slaves who numbered 200,000 had not joined, the Union Army would the Civil War’s outcome been different.

I think you should check the provenance of this data. Dr. Claire Gilbert is a personal friend of mine but she has some "issues". This inordinate number of flights would have to include general aviation(private planes pipercubs, cessnas, and student pilots,etc.) and air taxi/commuter flights.
