The Israeli companies produce the architecture for integrated circuits, and the USA sells them fighters that they go into. The only real question for me is at what point do we reassess our relationship if Israel acts wrongly. Or, do such things as international commerce have independed lives of their own, that is, outside of State Department Influence, or do they primarily determine State Department Policy? Is this the tail wagging the dog?
