Hello there,
At 1955 hrs, I had already decided that the Man had nothing to say to me, yet some perverse hope made me do it. I tuned in and was rewarded by the strangest version of ( no Bob Hope, He ) a West Wing entrance known to man. It was embarassing, people!...and He hadn't opened His mouth yet. Wiser people than me will parse what was said or not said that evening but somethings resembling a comic-strip balloon came to mind as I listened, my late father used to mutter often about FDR nothing like an old-fashioned war to cure a depression , to which I would protest......and stop calling me Shirley replied He.
Folks, I never voted for Him, He's the only one I have, and I insist that my country prosper (!) with Him. Failing that, then I plan to watch like an eagle, recall each transgression like an elephant, and wish His A-s well next time.
ps: At 2005 hrs I switched to PBS and watched these neat puppies being trained for a life of seeing-eye duty. Now that, was interesting.
