This week's "OOPS" prize goes to BBC.
First, we had BBC's "Horizon" show saying:
"Horizon producer David Sington on why predictions about the Earth's climate will need to be re-examined. We are all seeing rather less of the Sun.
Scientists looking at five decades of sunlight measurements have reached the disturbing conclusion that the amount of solar energy reaching the Earth's surface has been gradually falling.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/horizon/dimming_trans.shtml
Three months later, BBC announces:
"Cleaner air makes brighter skies-
The amount of sunlight reaching the Earth's surface is increasing, two new studies in Science magazine suggest."

Interesting to note that BBC appears to be so embarrassed about their gaffe, they didn't include a link to their previous program which is now contradicted.
Can't these people get their act straight? If they are going to promote doomsday scaremongering, which Producer David Sington admitted to me via email, at least they should get some heads-up about contradictory research in the pipeline.
Talk about inept.
These people make whiteyboy look like Einstein.
