Last week, GM refused to sell 78 EV1 electric cars to a group of people offering $1.9 million cash, with no obligation from GM to provide parts or service and with waivers of liability. Instead, GM loaded them on trucks and took them to Arizona to be crushed. GM lied about the thousands of people who wantd to buy the EV1 and instead, took the cars back and crushed them.
