No, Bush is my American Hero! After all he is the President!
No, Bush is my American Hero! After all he is the President!
So being the president makes someone your hero?
Would you consider Nixon, who ran the most corrupt adminstration in this country's history one of your American heros?
Or how about Reagan who sponsored terrorist death squads?
Or perhaps Clinton, who lied so many times that it became a full time job for people to keep track of them?

I would like to thank George Bush for revealing to me the true ideology of the GOP.
Based on those supporting Bush, I can only conclude that the majority of the GOP is now in favor of nation building, naive Wilsonian idealism (sorry, liberals, the guys was a hopeless Utopian-ist) and fiscal irresponsibility.
I have not changed. The GOP has changed. It has been radicalized. Therefore, I've become an independent. It's just as well, I suppose. I never much cared for the GOP’s morality czars that try to use the government to control private behavior.
Agreed Lesserfool. The Gop has abandoned its roots. Real conservatives, well, the majority, should be disgusted by the new party.

Explain.
Bush is our President...you had your chance to rally your people and you party lost by whatever means. The NeoCons are in power and until someone better that is honest and sincere comes along Bush and his politics will remain until then!
