My objections to posts from bogus posters that spammed the board periodically over the past few months had less to do with content than the fact that the filled pages of "subjects" up and deprived others of legitimate discussion...

That is YOUR opinion, and I venture to say, many will disagree with you. the majority of posts on the forum do not fall under "current event" and you have not seen fit to remove them.

There has been a great deal of pulling of posts going on the past few days, I have received 25 UNsolicited e-mails in my own private AOL account, which is against spamming laws, ALL to pacify ONE particular hysterical poster who has created a drama entirely of his own making and insists on continuing with this farce, after having been exposed for all to see. The drame he created dealt primarily with Marat, who couldn't care less what this character says about him.

He is a fake and he is destroying this forum. If that is what you folks want, than you are doing a good job.

I haven't a clue how to change that simple fact, Gerry. You've asked me on previous occasions to take some particular actions. I've concurred and taken those actions. They also were opinions.

We both (Lib and I) do our best. I detest being "intrusive" as a moderator...I'd detest it even more if the board degenerated into absolute chaos....

As to "pulling of posts". I can't speak for Lib...I've deleted several attached images that consisted of swastikas and the like. I'll not apologize for that.

I don't have your AOL email address, Gerry. If you've gotten all that unsolicited stuff, I haven't an idea where it came from, or -- more inportantly -- WHY you've gotten it. I haven't gotten even a fraction of that.

To repeat...I'll do the best I can, and it'll be as even-handed as I can make it, and as nonobtrusive as possible.
