Arianna ends here column with
It’s time for some fresh political puppies.
And that may be true no mater what our view of what actually happened.
But what if we did not louse but actually won?
Would we be saying what a brilliant campaign Kerry waged?
There is a possibility of a massive voter fraud and it is not just some tin foil hat theory and would not have to be a massive conspiracy as the pundants say.
No, only a hand full of computer program writers could have slip in a small program that would wake itself on November 2, alter a percentage of Democrat votes, and then go to sleep.
No one would know no matter what their politics is or how much control they had with the voting process. And the best part is that no one could get caught tinkering with anything.
It is the perfect crime. And anyone that suggests fraud could be called a conspiracy theorist and be reduced to the grassy knoll crowd so easily.
And in fear of the tin foil hat our so-called leaders would just be reduced to self-examination and flagellation further demoralizing the party regulars.
Why is it that I see the party as playing a game of good cop bad cop on the gullible public?
Perhaps Nader is right.
