MIAMI DEMONSTRATIONS
The paper said today that the FBI was taking names at the Miami demonstrations. Ashcroft says he is not concerned with people who express their views as I do. He is only concerned with those who would resort to violence to make a point. Right on. Protect me. I am a sixty-year-old well to do white male with a good family and little to complain about.
The armed services have only accepted applicants that meet the highest qualifications. Gang members, drug users, and perverts are rejected. The best and brightest are being blown away at a faster rate each month.
It is the Christian right that enjoys and demands this war. They want to make sure no one bothers me while I'm typing here in my beach front condo a hundred feet above the worker ants below while my third world sex slave plays Monica.
I assume all good Christian soldiers of the one true way will volunteer for Iran, Korea, and every other country on Earth until there are no more infidels, oops, I mean non believers.
I instinctively obey the commandments that make sense. Lying, cheating, stealing, killing, raping, terrorizing, or offending my neighbor are naturally repulsive to me. They don't work in the long run. I'm a good family man with grown children and grand children.
After all the right wing conservatives have gone to war and died defending the lives of the rejects the army doesn't want, we can have some peace and moonwalk on their graves at Arlington.
Of course their families will be left vulnerable to the gangsters and psycho cops that will rule things. Ask the Vietnam vets how the military takes care of their own and their loved ones. After WWI when veterans marched on Washington for the pensions they never got, the storm troopers ran them over like the Chinese did in Tiananmen Square. The minute one signs the pact with the devil military-industrial complex they are dead meat to them. The war machine eats people. Soldiers are food. That was the point in Soylent Green. It was a metaphor for what is happening now.
